Description: This position will serve as part-time reference and instruction Librarian and provide resources and assistance to promote student success. The part-time Librarian will teach a variety of information literacy courses, including Library orientation, research skills and citing sources. The Librarian will also work as the reference Librarian during days/evenings answering a variety of questions. This person must have a strong commitment to service and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications: Master of Library Science (MLS) or Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from an A.L.A Accredited Library Science program required. Knowledge of print and electronic research resources in a variety of subject areas. Academic library experience preferred.
Salary: $23.60 / hour
