Part Time Library Assistant - Nash Community College

Description: Provide outstanding customer service in a professional manner; circulation, basic reference service, and computer support. Register library borrowers and issue library cards. Check out and check in library materials. Collect library fines and fees. Assist patrons in the location and use of library resources. Shelve library materials, shift items, and shelf read. Search for missing materials. Process new books, serials, and films. Assist with collection development and weeding. Close the library facility using established procedures. Assist with library programs and events. Serve on college committees as assigned. Participate in college events and activities. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma or higher. Customer service experience. Good computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as collaboratively.
