Part Time Library Assistant - Wake County Public Libraries

Description: Library Assistants spend the majority of their time on a busy service desk providing excellent customer service to library patrons including checking books out, issuing library cards and providing other services. Library Assistants help patrons find information, give recommendations on good books, provide basic technology assistance, support general library operations,
and assist with library programs as needed. Part-time library assistants work 20 hours per week with schedules that typically include both evening and weekend hours. Qualifications: Associate's degree. No specific experience required. Equivalent education and experience are accepted.
