Description: The Patron Processing Assistant is the primary data entry position for the department, creating records for 160+ new applicants monthly. Key Responsibilities include processing new applications and updating current patron accounts following the National Library Service guidelines; assisting with record verification of electronic transactions, ensuring that records and/or reports are accurate, and any changes are correct; and serving as backup for the receptionist, handling and transferring local telephone calls and greets and assists visitors and patrons.
Qualifications: High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: $31,200 - $32,780 plus benefits
