Records Analyst - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools

Description: The Records Analyst, under general supervision, performs professional work related to oversight and implementation of the Charlotte- Mecklenburg Board of Education's (Board's) records management program, which includes public record disclosure responses in accordance with the North Carolina Public Records Act, Chapter 132 of the North Carolina General Statutes; assists with records management and retention in accordance with the Records Retention and Disposition Schedule for Local Education Agencies; supports discovery and e-discovery processes for litigation, including subpoenas and legal holds to preserve evidence. The Records Analyst provides support as assigned by the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and Public Records Officer.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required Three (3) or more years' related work experience as a records officer/analyst, paralegal, librarian, archivist, or related field required Paralegal certification or similar preferred Five (5) years' work experience with a school district or public agency preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $56,286 - $86,591
