Description: The Reference and Outreach Librarian works collaboratively with the Head of Public Services and other library personnel to implement and develop library reference services, outreach services, library instructions, collection development, and other library initiatives. The Reference and Outreach Librarian delivers responsive and innovative information and outreach services in support of the library, actively building relationships with faculty, researchers, staff, and students. The Reference and Outreach Librarian will collaborate with faculty, university departments and staff in the library to design holistic co-curricular learning experiences and outreach programs for students and the university community. The Reference and Outreach Librarian will participate in the planning, development, and assessment of the Library’s holistic co-curricular learning experiences and outreach programs.
Qualifications: ALA-Accredited Master’s degree in library and Information Science. Ability to work well with diverse populations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Salary: $50,000-$52,000
