Description: Provides reference and local history services to patrons in a busy public library, staffs both reference and local history desks, represents the library on special committees, and performs professional library services in assisting library patrons in the selection and use of library materials and resources.
Qualifications: At minimum, enrollment or a commitment to enroll in a Master’s of Library Science program, with salary commensurate with education. Master's Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited institution preferred. Must have access to transportation and maintain a valid N.C. Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
