Description: The Regional Library Manager is responsible for the daily operations of larger-scaled branch of Charlotte Mecklenburg County Library System including supervising, training, scheduling staff, providing information and services, and modeling superior customer service. Serve as a liaison between the library and their branch community by reaching out to area organizations, providing outreach services, and promoting the library and its services. Ensure the branch follows library vision, mission, and strategies. Responsible for ensuring issues with facilities, technology and security are reported timely and appropriately. Work collaboratively with peer library managers. Train library staff in library methods and procedures. Maintain a variety of library records and statistics. Ensure the branch is an essential component of the community. Resolve escalated customer issues.
Qualifications: Minimum of seven years of varied and increasing library and leadership experience. Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
