Description: F.D. Bluford Library of North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for the new position of Research and Instruction Librarian. Reporting to the Head of Research, Instructional, and Engagement Services, this position will be the primary contact for coordinating instruction with faculty and supporting the Library’s teaching and research efforts. This position will act as a liaison to the College of Health and Human Services and a Center of Excellence while working collaboratively with others to advance the university’s Research and Instruction initiatives. This is a twelve-month, tenure-track assistant professor position. The work schedule includes some evenings and weekends.
Qualifications: Applicants should have an ALA accredited MLS, MLIS Masters degree in Library Science. Knowledge of the ACRL Framework for Information literacy, online pedagogies, etc. as they relate to instruction. Competence with information technologies and experience integrating technology with library services.
