DESCRIPTION
The Research and Scholarly Support Librarian serves as a strategic partner to graduate programs and faculty, advancing the University’s research, scholarly visibility, and long-term knowledge preservation. This position provides high-level research support to faculty and graduate students, including specialized bibliographic instruction, research consultation, digital portfolio guidance, and co-authorship support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS or equivalent) from an ALA- accredited institution and an undergraduate degree or work experience in Health Science or related disciplines. Ideal candidates will have experience and demonstrated knowledge of medical and health sciences resources, databases, and research methodologies, preferably in an academic library setting, a strong commitment to user-centered service, experience with or knowledge of information literacy instruction, including instructional design and assessment, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment.
SALARY
$58,000 / Annually
