Description: The Z. Smith Reynolds Library seeks a creative, proactive, and collaborative library professional with the ability to provide innovative services as the Research & Instruction Librarian for Business and Social Science Research. The successful candidate will serve as an embedded subject liaisons in the School of Business providing instruction, research, and reference assistance to students and faculty in both undergraduate and graduate programs. They will also provide support across the social sciences and beyond for students and faculty doing quantitative research. As part of our robust instruction program, the librarian will both provide instruction for courses (traditional one-shot library instruction), and teach for-credit, subject-specific information literacy courses. Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program or a master’s degree in a related field with experience in an academic, special, or research library setting.
