Description: The Research Librarian is a full-time faculty position in the Laupus Health Sciences Library in the Division of Academic Affairs of East Carolina University. The Research Librarian is responsible for providing leadership for the library’s systematic review service, assisting researchers across the ECU Health Sciences Community with discoverability and promotion of scholarly publications, and providing in-depth research consultations. This position reports to the Assistant Director for User Services.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in library and information studies from an ALA-accredited program or other equivalent accredited graduate degree. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire. Experience with biomedical information resources, data management, and traditional and alternative research impact measurement tools.
