Description: Manages and oversees reproduction services to ensure an efficient and effective service that fosters strong customer service in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library. They are responsible for interpreting complex reproduction policies, soliciting input from appropriate subject specialists when needed, and explaining and enforcing policies to patrons from the Duke community and beyond. As part of a larger team, performs regular desk shifts, providing researcher support and supervision in a busy reading room.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Two years of library experience to obtain a specialized knowledge of library systems and procedures; excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Salary: $18.96 per hour (minimum)
