Description: Provide innovative and dynamic instruction, which includes outreach activities to identify potential campus users of Rubenstein Library materials as well as working with faculty to design assignments and select materials for use in their courses. You will work in a highly collaborative team setting to provide research and reference consultations and regular reading room shifts. You will work with collections across the Rubenstein Library, but the RSL will specially focus on History of Medicine and University Archives, and the RSLUA will specially focus on University Archives. Two 24-month positions are available.
Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited program and/or advanced degree in appropriate subject field. Familiarity with standard archival and library procedures; excellent planning, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; and demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and library users in a rapidly changing, service-oriented environment.
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
