Description: The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) will inaugurate a new program in the Rubenstein Library (RL) that will develop and sustain librarybased, community-facing collaborations with partners at Duke and in Durham and the Carolinas. In doing so, they will strengthen DUL's engagement with local history and with other cultural heritage organizations. The Coordinator will work closely with DUL colleagues, the Duke Office of Durham and Community Affairs, Duke Arts, and other campus partners to support and amplify campus-wide initiatives. The Coordinator will also contribute to instruction and programming that inform Duke students and the Duke community about Durham history.

Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited program and/or advanced degree in appropriate subject field. Experience with community outreach; excellent planning and project management skills; familiarity with standard archival and library procedures; strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Salary: $56,000 - $70,500
