Description: Manage the Business Services team and business-related programming and outreach. Provide an engaging, approachable, and service-oriented experience to library patrons at public service desks. Collaborate with other library locations within our system. Train, supervise & manage the Business Services staff. Perform professional and administrative library work and develop library services and programs that support the library’s strategic plan. Represent the Library on business and entrepreneurial focused matters within the community, including on the City/County small business committee. Work to imbed the library within the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Represent the library on both national and state level business related initiatives. Ensure a robust offering of business-related programs for the community. Work is performed with independence under the supervision of the Main Library Manager. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of the Main Library Manager.
Qualifications: Master of Library Science degree from an ALA-accredited school and six months of experience in professional library work.
