DESCRIPTION
The Cumberland County Public Library plays an important role in serving residents and surrounding communities by providing access to diverse informational and recreational materials, as well as innovative programs that enrich learning and connection. The Senior Librarian/Branch Manager leads the daily operation and long-term administration of our North Reginal Branch Library, ensuring exceptional service delivery and a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role oversees all aspects of branch management, including strategic planning, staff supervision, and the coordination of community programs. The position also provides mentorship and guidance to staff across the library system and contributes to key system-wide initiatives that strengthen overall library services. QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in library science and three and a half (3½) years of professional library experience to include two (2) years of supervisory experience in a library setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Management preferences
Management experience in a Public Library setting preferred
Driving is an essential function of this position. Candidate must have or obtain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License within sixty (60) days of employment.

SALARY
$67,931.95 / ANNUALLY
