Description: The Senior Research Librarian, with limited supervision, is responsible for the successful day-to-day management and delivery of research services and fulfilment of technical services for the library. Responsibilities include completing research requests and delegating to Research Librarian as appropriate, purchasing and cataloging new materials, onboarding new employees, offboarding departing employees, coordinating training sessions, and training and reviewing the work of the Research Librarian. The ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls are key to success in this position. A successful candidate will be very self-motivated and self-directed, and have the ability to prioritize and juggle an ever-changing and growing list of projects.
Qualifications: Ability to work well under pressure, meet frequent deadlines, changing assignments and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail Experience with library instruction. Intermediate to expert in MS Word and Excel, strong organizational skills, ability to work with minimal supervision. 3-5 years of legal experience preferred.
