Description: The Serials and Electronic Resources Librarian plans, coordinates, implements, maintains, supports, and enhances the library’s serials subscriptions. The Serials and Electronic Resource Librarian is primarily responsible for selecting serials and managing access to the library’s serial subscription resources (electronic and print) for journals, magazines, newspapers, databases and e-journal packages, as well as resources available through NCLIVE and other consortium packages/subscriptions. The serials and electronic resources librarian identifies and implements improvements for online content systems, services, and resources. The Serials and Electronic Resources Librarian reports to the Head of Acquisitions and Collection Assessment. This position works collaboratively across the library, including libr60ary management, departmental liaisons, reference, information technology, and cataloging.
Qualifications: MLS degree from an ALA-accredited library and information science program. One year of experience in an academic library with serials or electronic resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: $60,000-$62,000
