Description: Participate in a library instruction program, providing in-person and online library instruction for the general education program (including first- and second-year writing courses, Rhetoric & Composition 1000 and 2001) and courses in the social sciences, including: Anthropology, Communication, Government and Justice Studies, Human Development & Psychological Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology. The position involves strong outreach efforts across undergraduate and graduate programs. Meet library faculty guidelines for promotion and tenure, including requirements for scholarship and service to the library, the university, and the profession. Qualifications: ALA-accredited master’s degree or equivalent LIS degree. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills. Knowledge of best practices in academic libraries, including information literacy instruction, liaison, user services, research services. Subject knowledge and experience in one or more social sciences disciplines. Experience with student-centered teaching.

Salary: $54,000-$62,000, salary may vary based on the faculty ranking
