Description: Salem Academy & College Library seeks a creative, self-motivated, and forward thinking librarian to join our team and fill the position of Student Success & Instruction Librarian. The Student Success Librarian coordinates and provides instruction, research support, and outreach services for first-year, transfer, adult (Fleer), and academy students. This position collaborates with academic programs and offices to develop library initiatives that promote student success and retention. This position is a liaison for selected academic programs and will also develop the library’s peer information assistant program. The Student Success Librarian is designated member of the faculty for the purposes of attending and voting at faculty meetings, serving on the General Education Committee, and qualifying for faculty professional development funds. This position reports to the Library Director and may at times supervise student workers and/or interns.
