Description

The Teaching & Learning Intern provides support for teaching and learning initiatives in the Duke University Libraries and works with staff across the Libraries to help reimagine teaching and learning programs to support undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty instructors. They will gain classroom and project management experience, learn about teaching innovations to support the intellectual growth of a wide variety of learners, and develop professional skills and competencies relevant to the field of teaching, critical thinking, and program development. 

This internship offers a student the chance to experience the range of Teaching & Learning activities. While these activities may be of particular interest to students pursuing a library career in public services, these skills also benefit people looking for other careers in libraries, from outreach to technology positions.

Salary: $18.00 hourly
