Description: The Technical Services Manager will be the person in charge of managing both the Main library and the Spangler Branch's collections and will process all adult, young adult, and children's materials for the library system. Coordinates the acquisition of materials; processes customer requests for materials; orders the supplies to process materials. Assists customers with in-depth reference services at the access services desk in the Main library. Instructs customers in how to use the library and its print and electronic resources; assists the public in person, by telephone, or via virtual chat; gives out specific information and instructions. All library staff members are required to work at least one night per week, and at least one weekend day per month.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited school, or related field and moderateexperience working in a public or academic library as a professional librarian, experience in youth services or adult services programming preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: $19.36 - $23.23 / hour
