Description: In this role, you will be responsible for planning and presenting programs designed for preschool children. This includes preparing the truck for daily travel and driving it to and from various service locations, while ensuring that you possess a valid NC Driver License and maintain a clean driving record. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with children and their caregivers, providing customer service that may include readers advisory services. Additionally, part of your responsibilities will involve promoting WCPL programs and services offered at all WCPL locations. Lastly, you will collaborate with Library Assistants who are specifically assigned to support Bookmobile programming. This position entails diverse tasks, from engaging with young readers to maintaining the logistics of the Bookmobile service.
Qualifications: A Master's degree in Librarianship or related field, such as MLS, MLIS, MIS, or ML, from an ALA accredited program or NC program is required. No prior experience is necessary, and equivalent education and experience are not accepted.
