Description: The University Archivist oversees all aspects of acquiring, arranging, preserving, describing, making available and promoting the permanently valuable institutional records and historic records of the university, utilizing accepted standard archival practices. The University Archives follows state and university guidance in the management of all records created, received, and maintained by the university, and ensures that the records determined to have sustaining value are preserved and made available for research.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program, with 18 hours concentration in Archival Studies; Minimum of 2 years’ experience in archives or museum setting, two of which involve supervision of others.
