Description: High Point University is currently seeking a fulltime librarian. The individual selected for this role will supervise the R.G. Wanek Center Learning Commons as a study area. They will act as a liaison to the undergraduate and graduate health sciences programs at High Point University and in conjunction with the other library staff will provide reference and research services. In conjunction with Smith Library staff, they will manage the day-to-day operations of the R. G. Wanek Center Learning Commons. Opportunities abound in this position and along with working with students in the graduate health science program, this candidate can also act as a part of the library outreach team, planning and executing exciting programs for our undergraduates.
Qualifications: MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited library school required. An undergraduate degree in a science or healthcare field is strongly preferred. Experience in an academic library setting, in a health, or science field is a plus.
Salary: $52,250
