Description: The Youth Programming Librarian I located at the Headquarters branch in the Programming Division is responsible for assuring high customer and employee satisfaction with all assigned aspects of Youth Programming in accordance with current Library policies and procedures, in cooperation with Library departments and other organizations in support of the library mission and vision. This position works with the Division Manager for Programs to ensure that all programming meets the educational and entertainment needs of youth of all ages, parents, and caregivers.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in Library Science is required. Proficiency in languages other than English preferred. Trainee applicants must have completed at least 75% of required course work towards an MLS.
Salary: $40,682.77
