Description: Plans, organizes and directs the overall activities of the Youth Services Department under the direct supervision of the Director of Libraries. Oversees the preparation of programming for children and their caregivers that includes Early Literacy, after-school and outreach programs, as well as other activities that support literacy.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution with at least three (3) years of professional library experience, certification by the North Carolina Public Library Certification Board, North Carolina driver’s license acquired within 30 days of employment, and drug test prior to employment.
Salary: $42,000
