Description: Youth Services Librarians in a Regional Library have the primary responsibility of providing programs for children of all ages. Depending on the age group assigned, Librarians can expect to deliver between 2-7 weekly programs with support from Library Assistants. Librarians also provide reference and readers' advisory services, work in assigned collection areas, and act as a leader in the library in the absence of the managers. Librarians have the opportunity to collaborate with system peers and managers, as well as to participate in system projects and initiatives. Cary Regional is WCPL's newest regional library. Opened in 2019, this library is a busy library that serves a diverse community in the heart of Cary, NC.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Librarianship or related field: MLS, MLIS, MIS, ML from an ALA accredited program or NC program. No specific experience required. Equivalent education and experience are NOT accepted.
