Description: The Greensboro Public Library is seeking a Youth Services Librarian who is an energetic professional. Consistent with the library's mission of providing free and equal access to information and life-long learning and the joys of reading, the position of Youth Services Librarian plans and implements programming including story times,
afterschool programs for children and teens, family programs, and bilingual/multicultural programs. The position also plans and implements the Summer Reading program. The Youth Services Librarian promotes the use of library services through outreach to schools, parent groups, daycare providers, and other local organizations and through reading lists, bibliographies, and displays.

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library Science Experience in storytelling, drama, or public performance. Experience in publicity and promotion.  2+ years of increasingly responsible experience working in the library science field.

Salary: $43,285-$56,954 Hire Range
