Description: This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Regional Library as a Youth Services Librarian; where you will primarily provide programs for children of all ages. Depending on the age group assigned, Librarians can expect to deliver between 2-7 weekly programs with support from Library Assistants. Librarians also provide reference and readers' advisory services, work in assigned collection areas and act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the managers.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Librarianship or related field; MLS, MLIS, MIS, ML from an ALA-accredited program or NC program. No specific experience required. Equivalent education and experience are NOT accepted.
