Description: Are you a library professional with a passion for working with children? Wake County Public Libraries is hiring four full-time youth services librarians. Librarians develop and deliver quality programming for children birth to teen, as well as work on a busy service desk providing reference, readers’ advisory and circulation assistance. Librarians are offered the opportunity to collaborate with managers and peers; and participate in system initiatives. Current opportunities are at the following locations: West Regional Library, Cary; Athens Drive Community Library, Raleigh; Southgate Community Library, Raleigh; and Wendell Community Library, Wendell.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Librarianship or related field: MLS, MLIS, MIS, ML from an ALA-accredited program or NC program. No specific experience required. Equivalent education and experience are NOT accepted.
