Description:
Performs intermediate skilled technical work providing specialized services and programs for the library, preparing monthly statistical reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Library Director. Continuous oversight is exercised over the work of youth and teen services.
The normal work schedule includes Monday, 8-5 or 9-6, Tuesday, 8-5 or 9-6, Wednesday, 10-7, Thursday, 8-5 or 9-6, Friday 8-5, (when scheduled to work on a Saturday, 8-2).
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited college or university or will be completed within 12 months of appointment, or master's degree in education, psychology, social work, sociology, or related field, or bachelor's degree in early childhood education and experience working in libraries, schools, daycare centers, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: $20.64/hr.-$26.84/hr. **Compensation will be based on experience**
