Clarisa Arguello
Clarisa Arguello joined the Library Development team as the Adult Services and Digital Literacy Consultant in June 2024. Clarisa first joined the State Library of North Carolina as the Outreach Librarian for the Government and Heritage Library in November 2022, following over 7 years of service within the Miami-Dade Public Library system. Clarisa served in a variety of roles while working at Miami-Dade Public Library, including as a branch manager and adult services librarian. Her journey with SLNC continued with a transition to the Library Development team in June 2024, assuming the role of Adult Services and Digital Literacy Consultant. In this capacity, she provides consulting services focused on Adult Services, Digital Literacy, Spanish language programming, and outreach initiatives. Additionally, she serves as the E-Rate Coordinator. Clarisa holds a BA from Florida International University, a Master of Arts in International Administration from the University of Miami, and a Master of Science in Library & Information Studies from Florida State University.
