PBS American Portrait Screening and Talk-The Power of Personal Storytelling

PBS American Portrait Screening and Talk-The Power of Personal Storytelling

Join us for a special screening of personal stories from two local storytellers. View their short films and hear what motivates the creators to tell their stories. After the screening, a discussion will be moderated by Jeff Polish, executive director of The Monti, a Durham-area non-profit that invites people from the community to tell personal stories without the use of notes—it is just simple storytelling. Attendees are encouraged to engage with the panelists via the virtual chat feature and participate in an audience Q & A.
