Description: The Adult Service Librarian is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising activities within the adult services unit. Their main duties include developing and offering a variety of reading, educational, and cultural programs specifically designed for adults. This is done to encourage library usage, foster community relations, and promote engagement. The Adult Service Librarian also assists library patrons in effectively utilizing library services, facilities, and equipment. In this role, they are expected to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.

Qualifications: The minimum requirement for this position is a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, along with at least two years of experience in a professional library position. It is preferred that candidates hold a Master's Degree in Library Science from an institution accredited by the American Library Association.

Salary: $44,549 - $71,279
