Description: Under the supervision of the Library Director, the Assistant Director for Instructional and Research Services will take a central role in organizing, delivering, and promoting the library, its resources, and information literacy instruction to faculty and students at Central Piedmont. This person will be responsible for creating and implementing an information literacy program. They will collaborate with librarians across all campuses to ensure that library instruction is available for classes at Central Piedmont and oversee the design and delivery of information literacy instruction in a variety of modes and formats. This person also oversees staff responsible for library-wide assessment and college-wide digital literacy efforts.
Qualifications: ALA accredited MLS Degree, 3 years of library experience, 2 years of progressively increasing supervisory or administrative experience.
