Description: The purpose of this position is to perform skilled technical work providing library services, supervising circulation staff, assisting patrons, maintaining records, preparing reports, overseeing library operations as needed, and related work as apparent or assigned. Duties include but aren't limited to management of the circulation division within the public library, management of hiring and selection of department personnel, acts a library NC Cardinal Consortium liaison, and providing circulation assistance to patrons.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience in collection development, circulation, and/or library services required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduation from an accredited college with a four-year degree or graduate degree in Library Science or Library and Information Studies with a Master’s degree preferred.
Salary: $51,058 - $63,906
