Description: The Digital Makerspace Technician will support the Digital Makerspace Coordinator in the daily operations of the Digital Makerspace, with a focus on training and supervising a growing number of student work assistants. This position will assist with implementing new services and technology and will participate in improving existing procedures such as technology lending and makerspace scheduling. This position will also assist DMS Coordinator in instruction such as training, demonstrations, and workshops. As a member of the Randall Library Information Technology and Systems department, this position works in collaboration with Library IT, campus ITS, liaison librarians, and others to apply technology to learning and research. Come work at Randall Library in a space designed by and for students, and facilitate their access to advanced technology. Teach and learn new skills in a dynamic and expanding work environment, and the beach is nice, too!

Qualifications: High school graduate and 1yr of experience or coursework in related technology to the position, or a combination. We would love experience hiring, training, supervising, working with student employees and implementing and troubleshooting makerspace technologies or equipment. Familiarity with training, 3D printing, various advanced software, etc is a plus.

Salary: $40,729-$50,250
