Description: Position coordinates digital literacy programs and services for the library and assists in the management of library technologies. Provides technology assistance to patrons. Assists with creation of digital content, including digitization of local history collections and creation of virtual programs. Helps manage and maintain library software/technologies, including ILS, 3D printers, laser cutters, etc.; provides training workshops for staff and patrons. Oversees library website and creates relevant, high-quality digital content for library’s social media. Collaborates with Library Director to develop and facilitate implementation of a technology/digital services plan including budgeting for new technologies, software, and digital resources. Partners with IT Department to communicate technology needs; troubleshoot problems; implement and evaluate responsive/innovative technologies. Assists with collection, reporting, and analysis of data related to library services, programs, and resources. Maintains inventory of technologies, software, and digital resources. Assists with technologies used in STEAM-related programs. Assists in submission and management of e-rate applications.

Qualifications: Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field. Master of Library Science degree preferred. Experience sufficient to understand the work of subordinate positions and resolve problems; usually associated with one to three years' experience.

Salary: $47,964.80 - $50,377.60
