Description: Lead the library and engage the staff in ongoing visioning and planning, setting priorities in support of the mission of the college, and communicating the library’s vision to all stakeholders. Enthusiastically represent the library to internal constituents (i.e., students, faculty, staff) as well as external constituents (i.e., Board of Trustees members, alumni, donors, friends in the community, etc.). Oversee overall library administration including personnel, budget, and facilities. Develop services, policies, and procedures to assure the efficient and effective functioning of the library.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program and a minimum of five years of responsible leadership and supervisory experience in an academic library environment.
