Description: The Electronic Resources Manager (ERM) will support the Center and external contract clients in the management of their online resources. They will evaluate subscription usage through vendor tools; work to develop tools where they do not exist; gather and analyze collection metrics to support recommendations and decision-making; develop and maintain respectful and professional relationships with vendors; negotiate license terms, ensure contract compliance. In addition they will objectively communicate the value of resources to nonlibrarians, management and budget stakeholders and monitor electronic resources fund expenditures and forecast future budget year projections. Position is also responsible for delivering articles through document delivery/interlibrary loan for internal and external clients. Successful candidates will have: knowledge of processes related to e-resources, familiarity with selection, budgeting, and content providers; ability to interact with users and managers empathetically and positively; data analysis skills, attention to detail, knowledge of copyright /licensing; and a great deal of curiosity.
Qualifications: In addition to a Master's in Library or Information Science, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
Salary: Minimum $56,500; offer commensurate with experience
