Description: The purpose of this position is to assist the Web and User Experience Librarian in carrying out the many responsibilities of the Web Services Unit in ensuring that the library’s web presence is properly maintained, assist with making improvements when needed and to help the Web and User Experience Librarian conduct usability and user experience studies. The successful candidate should have experience with web development languages including HTML, CSS, Javascript and php. The candidate should also be familiar with creating and maintaining web pages within a content management system. The employee must use professional judgment to determine the best way in which to resolve problems and make changes to web pages in a timely fashion. The employee should also be proficient in the use of the web authoring tools (such as Dreamweaver), image creation software (such as Photoshop), and good file management and site management practices.

Qualifications: Graduation from a two year technical college with a major in an Information Technology field and one year in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or graduation from a four year college or university and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position.

Salary: $50,441 - $50,915
