Description: Library Assistants spend the majority of their time on a busy service desk, providing excellent customer service to library patrons including checking books out, issuing library cards, helping members find books, and providing other services. Library Assistants provide reference, readers’ advisory and basic technology assistance to members, and support operational and programming efforts in the library. Current openings are at the following locations: Cary Regional Library, Adult Services Northeast Regional Library, Adult Services Eva H. Perry Regional Library, Youth Services.
Qualifications: Associate's degree. No specific experience required. Equivalent education and experience are accepted.
