Description: The Harkins Intern for the Duke Centennial will process archival collections anticipated to be high use during the Duke Centennial (2024). The Harkins Intern will also assist University Archives staff with outreach to students and other projects to prepare for Duke’s upcoming centennial, and provide reference services in collaboration with other staff.
Qualifications: Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in liberal arts or social science fields and current enrollment or recent graduate of archival studies, public history, or information and library science programs. Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capacity to take initiative.
Salary: $18 / hour
