Description: The Head of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Department leads the work of natural sciences and engineering subject liaisons and coordinates the development of library collections, services, and resources for the sciences and engineering disciplines. Additionally, the Head of the Natural Sciences and Engineering actively engages with faculty, students, visiting scholars, and staff in one or more selected departments. They collaborate with colleagues to provide and promote library resources and services that support these fields; manage the Libraries’ collections in these areas; and provide specialized and general research assistance and instruction to library users.
Qualifications: Master’s degree from an ALA accredited program or an advanced degree in a relevant subject field with appropriate experience. Supervisory and project management experience; demonstrated ability to empower, delegate, and build consensus across multiple, diverse constituencies; proficiency with information resources in a variety of formats/ subject areas.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
