Description: The Instruction and Outreach Librarian provides reference service during the evenings and weekends and serves as the liaison to online programs. In the area of Reference, this person will be available for research consultations for students and faculty, assist library patrons with research inquiries during evening and weekend hours, and participate in regular professional development relating to library resources. In the area of Library Instruction, this person will provide instruction sessions for class groups or individuals, work with faculty to deliver subject-specific instructional sessions, build instructional videos, and provide professional development for faculty through the Center for Teaching and Learning. This person will also act as a liaison between to the ECOL (Extended Campus and Online Learning) programs. The Instruction and Outreach Librarian is a member of the faculty of Lees-McRae College with all of the associated privileges and responsibilities.
Qualifications: MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program
