Description: The Cataloging and Technical Services Librarian is primarily responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the library catalog. The Librarian is responsible for cataloging all new materials to the library collection as well as removing records for materials that are being removed. The Librarian coordinates the operational functions of all library technical services including materials processing, interlibrary loan, discards, donations, and inventory. Coordinates and develops collection reports for the Director focusing on collection needs and programs budgets as well as annual statistical data reports. This position also provides reference and instruction services to students, faculty, and staff. This position will also assist with the cataloging and organization of the College archives. At the discretion of the Director, this position may act as the Acting Director of Library Services in the absence of the full-time Director.
Qualifications: Master’s degree from an American Library Association accredited graduate program; related degree Library /Information Science. Three years of full-time or equivalent library work experience. Work experience in library cataloging and technical services.
