Description: The primary purpose of the Access Service Librarian is to provide direction and leadership for all aspects of circulation, electronic and traditional reserves, stack maintenance, distance education and participates in the library’s information literacy initiatives. This position supervises and evaluate staff; drafts policy and procedures and related work flow, and resolve problems and other issues relating to public services. This position manages OCLC WMS, the library’s integrated library system (ILS). The Circulation unit consists of 3 FTE permanent staff and approximately 15 FTE Student Assistants.

Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited program at an accredited institution or higher education. Experience working in access services (Circulation) operation in a library. Experience with an OCLC WMS systems. Relevant Library and supervisory experience.

Salary: $55,000 - $58,000
