Description: The Community Engagement Librarian III develops, facilitates, and organizes programming and outreach events. Work involves coordination and connection with the interests and needs of the diverse communities and organizations of Lee County. This position helps create and sustain accessible solutions for the communities’ needs and promotes awareness of library resources. It is required to have a comprehensive knowledge of library resources and materials as well as the informational needs of the public to maintain the library’s mission as an essential and invaluable resource within the county. Work is performed under the direction of the Director of Library Services.
Qualifications: Master's degree from a school of library or information science program accredited by the American Library Association in library science with 2+ years working in a professional library position. North Carolina Public librarian certification within six (6) months. Valid driver's license in the State of North Carolina.
Salary: $59,045 - $75,282
